PatchForge questions

What does PatchForge do?

PatchForge is a custom hat patch builder. Upload a PNG or SVG, remove the background, and it traces a clean cut line. Pick leather, leatherette, vinyl or acrylic, choose UV print or laser engrave, mock the patch up on one of 166 real hat styles, send your customer a proof link, and export production files at true size.

How much does PatchForge cost?

$12 a month, $120 a year, or $199 once for lifetime access. Unlimited designs and no export caps. It is also included in FoundryPass, which covers every Maker Foundry app for $29 a month.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The monthly and yearly plans start with a 7-day free trial. Cancel any time before it ends and you are not charged.

Does it work with LightBurn and xTool?

Yes. PatchForge exports native LightBurn (.lbrn2) and xTool (.xs) project files, plus SVG, DXF, PNG, JPG and TIFF. Print-ready UV sheets come with cut files and registration marks for print-and-cut.

Can I use it for my Shopify store?

Yes, for the design side: Shopify and Etsy sellers use PatchForge to design patches, make hat mockups, send proof links and quote customer orders. A Shopify app that lets shoppers design their own patch in your store (The Forge for Shopify) is coming soon. PatchForge never takes a percentage of your sales.

Do I have to install anything?

No. PatchForge runs in one browser tab, with no installs or plugins.
